Queen Agatha's royal grandparents, King Lars and Queen Lara,
ruled the land of Xana side-by-side. They loved each other
dearly, pursuing their nightly conjugal unions with both joy
and perseverance for several decades and finally conceived
an heir to their throne, Princess and later Queen Julia.
Whenever a controversy about ruling their land arose, King Lars
and Queen Lara argued from opposite sides. They examined the
evidence critically and used logical reasoning to find the
solution that would most benefit their land. Throughout all
their disagreements they treated each other with the utmost
of courtesy, respect, and kindness. Their goal was to find
what was right for their country, not to win an argument with
each other. On many occasions their best solution involved
friendly tradeoffs between two contrasting alternatives.
